Black Bear Hunts

Hunting black bears behind a pack of well trained hounds such as ours is truly an unforgettable experience! These hunts are fast paced and action packed. We utilize the "rig'em" method of using vehicles to find sent of bears and then releasing the hounds to tree the bear for us. After the hounds have the bear tree'ed, the race is on for the hunting crew to close the distance to the hounds and the bear before the bear escapes and restarts the race. Because of the fast paced nature and rough terrain of these hunts, hunters are encouraged to be in decent physical condition and wear sturdy boots to support them across the main terrains we encounter.
